Taksim White Hotel

The location is perfect if you don’t mind not being at the posh side of taksim, it’s literally 3-4’ to the square, at the more graphic side of town.

The address was wrong and, while the actual property was just across the street, it was still confusing, given that the property I booked via booking was called Taksim white Hotel and the actual place is called Taksim White inn. We arrived and no one was there, we had to call and the person that answered seemingly had zero clue who we were and said he’d call back. He left us waiting for 10’, which is when I called again and he said he’d be right there. Again we waited another good 10-15’ when he arrived. He then looked at his laptop for 5’ to see if we made a booking. The rooms are a bit neglected, missing lamps and faulty furniture and you can literally hear every single step or noice guests in neighboring rooms make. The water was cool or lukewarm and it took a while to heat up and the communication with the staff was not satisfactory. We reserved a room for three and there was a big bed and a couch. When I asked where the third person will sleep, they instructed us to the closet and said there are sheets, you can unfold the couch and make the bed. The room wasn’t cleaned for six days and we only had one toilet paper roll and had to ask for another which they brought the next day. Overall though, in their chaotic ways, they were in fact friendly and the location is very practical.
