Progon House

Beautiful home with spectacular mountain views. A beautiful well kept and clean pool (although small). Grounds were kept immaculate and beautiful well maintained flowers. Home was very clean on arrival. Easy to locate on GPS. Roughly 20/25 minutes from local Plodine. Owners kitten made our stay! Kids loved her and I grew very fond of her. I wanted to bring her home as I grew attached to her greatly. She was well looked after with us 😊 Hosts very friendly and kind. Beers and homemade brownies left for us on arrival. And homemade bakes mid stay given to us. Very kind gifts given at end of stay. Hosts couldn't have been more accommodating and gave us plenty of privacy. Many thanks for having us!

A few issues that could be improved for upcoming guests. Issues with ants. Kept climbing counters and appearing around the appartment. Not had this issue in previous places we've stayed. We didnt like this. As kitchen area quite small there's not a lot of food storage space for a week. Shower drains blocked so every time we would shower the whole bathroom would flood. Can hear drains bubbling. They need unblocking. Only downside of size was bathroom too small to accommodate 5 people for a week. Can't be helped but roosters were a pain going off from 4am onwards. Kept us awake regularly. May be worth stating in description about it being a working farm and possible noise distribution for clarity. Last issue was description described air con 'Throughout' but only one room had air-conditioning. Bedrooms got extremely hot over night and as we come from a much cooler country it was hard to adjust. Maybe some portable fans could be provided as a suggestion. These are minor issues and just some general feedback. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay regardless.

Marco is an amazing host. When we arrived he treated us with fruits, beer and cake. The house is also very clean and neat, the pool and barbecue is also an amazing part of this place. The animals are friendly and we had a good time with them especially his cat Miki. We really enjoyed our stay here and we recommend it for everyone. Looking forward to coming there next year.

L'accueil a été parfait, nous avons passés 4 jours au calme dans un cadre magnifique. La famille qui nous a accueilli est vraiment adorable rien ne manquait et pour le plus grand plaisir de nos enfants, Miky leur chaton, était lui aussi très attachant.
