Enjoy a relaxing mountain getaway in the last original unit of the 1970's featuring mostly original décor from the time period as seen in the movie Avalanche filmed on location at Tamarron Resort. This well taken care of condo nestled in the scenic Durango high country has an inviting living space, cozy furnishings as well as large windows that capture beautiful alpine views. A well-equipped kitchen and open layout make it easy to settle in after a day of skiing, hiking, golfing or exploring the area. Guests can unwind on the private balcony or patio while taking in the peaceful surroundings and golf course view. Perfectly positioned for outdoor adventure and relaxation, this condo offers a welcoming home base to Southwest Colorado.
Features include a gas fireplace, central heating, galley style kitchen with stove top and oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, crockpot, Keurig coffee maker, electric outdoor grill, free WiFi, a 50" TV and more. Unit has two fold down murphy twin beds with memory foam mattresses and a plush king size bed for a good nights sleep. Additional seating and a dining / game table for enjoying meals or your favorite board games while listening to the Bluetooth stereo record player is also present.
Amenities at Glacier Club Resort include indoor and outdoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness center, pickleball, tennis, and playground. Discounted golf rates for guests available at the Valley Golf course. There are 3 restaurants on site as well as EV Charging station at the Valley Clubhouse parking lot. A ski shuttle to Purgatory is available during ski season for additional cost and must be reserved in advance at the Valley Clubhouse.
This unit does not have Air conditioning but does have fans, a security door screen and fresh mountain air to circulate.
A card laundry facility is just outside the door for your convenience.
The facility does not allow pets and be aware of the wildlife in the area.
No smoking or Vaping of any kind is allowed.
Gas barbeques on patios not allowed.
Condo is located in the Gamble Oaks area south of the main lodge.
Trailers are discouraged as there is very limited designated space to park trailers. Please inquire at lodge if space is available to reserve.
