About this apartment rental
Railroad Rest at Tamarron Resort (Lodge #340) is our one-bedroom loft featuring a full kitchen and one full bath. It is conveniently located adjacent to all of the resort amenities including a heated pool, hot tub, and fitness center. Wifi speeds are appx 100+ mbps. Our Tamarron rental guests can play Glacier's 18-hole Valley Course at an exclusive discounted rate. Details will be provided in your rental instructions.
Come and enjoy your Colorado mountain vacation in this updated loft condo where the mountains meet a modern design. Comfortable sleeping arrangements for 4 - include a Queen bed in the loft, plus a sleeper sofa on the main level. The updated kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove/oven, crockpot, microwave, toaster oven, and coffee pot. The modern bathroom has a nice walk-in shower.

ON-SITE AMENITIES AT THE LODGE INCLUDE: indoor pool, outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam shower, fitness center, golf at a special discounted rate, tennis, pickleball, playground, 3 on-site restaurants, and event center. There is an EV Charging Station available for guest use in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot, adjacent to the Tamarron Lodge. There is a $20 per person ski shuttle to purgatory on weekends - tickets must be purchased in advance and the pick-up location is in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot.
LOCATION: Tamarron sits at around 7800 feet in elevation and is just 10 minutes south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of downtown Durango. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

What a great place!! We booked here because of all the amenities available and short drive to Purgatory. We have 2 young boys and they were not disappointed in all there was to offer - the indoor heated pool was a hit, the hot tub outside, the outside area with the playground, the gym….honestly I could go on. Super family friendly. We liked being close to the mountain but not on it. Our condo was perfect for us - the boys loved sleeping on the pull out couch and we were all beyond comfortable! Our host provided plenty of linens and even were able to offer us an extra night, when I asked last minute.We cannot wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our time in Durango and at this beautiful condo at the Tamarron Resort North of Durango. The unit had everything we could have needed. It was well-appointed, very comfortable, and newly updated. It is located towards the end of the complex and is tucked behind a nice ridge, so it felt very private. The Cliffside restaurant is excellent for grabbing a pizza, burger, and beer. Enjoyed our time and are already looking forward to our next trip.
