About this house rental
Year-round home—summer, fall, winter, spring
This house isn’t your typical “summer stuga” that falls into hibernation in the winter. On the contrary: thanks to geothermal heating, it stays warm year-round, and the fireplace adds that Scandinavian crackle to the mix.
Summer (June–August):
• Boating
• Fishing
• Swimming
• Campfires
• Celebrating Midsummer
• Long, light evenings
• Moose watching (if you’re lucky)
The Moälven River carries you comfortably to Lake Anundsjön—and Lake Anundsjön carries you much farther.
Fall (September–October):
• big pike for anglers
• Mushroom picking
• Blueberries & lingonberries
• Golden forests
• Clear air
• Wonderful photography conditions
Winter (November–March):
And this is where it gets especially good:
• Snowmobiling
• Cross-country skiing (hundreds of kilometers groomed daily)
• Sauna & fireplace
• Northern Lights (with a little luck and a clear night)
• Winter hiking
• Ice fishing
• Wellness
This isn’t just marketing—people here really do these things.
Spring (April–May):
• Fishing (pike and perch are biting well right now)
• Nature awakens
• Wildlife watching
• First boat trips
Fishing & Boating
The house comes with a fiberglass boat equipped with a 5 PS Suzuki motor (available as an optional add-on). It’s about 50 meters from the property to the water. The river connects to the lake, and the lake in turn connects to other bodies of water—ideal for anglers and explorers.
You can catch the following here:
• Pike
• Perch
• Zander
Depending on the season, pike weighing 80+ are not uncommon here.
Wellness—warm even when it’s freezing outside
There’s a small wellness area in the basement:
• Sauna (electric)
• Whirlpool/bubble bath (for 2 people)
• Shower & toilet
• Underfloor heating
• Relaxation room
• Soapstone walls
• Ventilated & heated
This isn’t just a “make-do bathroom”—it’s really cozy.
