About this house rental

The house at the Hummelbucht has 3 bedrooms with 6 beds, a travel cot and 2 sofa beds in the living or Fireplace room, a complete kitchen unit, bathroom with toilet and shower and a dishwasher and washing machine. It is a rustic, typical wooden house, with a simple standard.
The house has a sturdy motor dinghy, which can also be used by oars. Tenants can bring it on the car roof to the different lakes, rivers and the sea for swimming, rafting and fishing (www.natrafvo.se). It can be chained to a simple boat dock (described in Map / Alemansrecht). There are also guest berths at Holmener Hafen at the bridge.

It is framed by a large garden with a fire pit. The garden offers many play opportunities for children.
Likewise, welcome dogs feel comfortable here as well.
The house is located about 700 meters away from the Baltic Sea, on an island. Parking next to the house are given. Paths for hikers, MTBs, snowmobiles (rental in Örnsköldsvik) can be found in the nearby forest. A restaurant at the ferry port 1 km away invites you to stroll. The supermarket is about 1.5 km away. In the immediate vicinity are sports marinas, an experienced boat service, an illuminated cross-country ski trail, ski slopes and an ice rink (Bjästa). Do not miss a ferry ride to the UNESCO islands of Ulvön or Trysunda with their fishing villages. In addition, fish (pike, salmon) lure kayaking and swimming in the river, lake and sea. As well as the museum of local history and the new art park at Bruksvägen. At the end of the Holmener bay is the Balesuden National Park with its high red rocks. Also, a hike to the nearby virgin forests of the Skuleskogen World Heritage Park of the High Coast, with its cliffs, the High Coast Trail and Stone Age excavations. For families with children, this house with the park-like garden is ideal.

Here, in Southern Lapland, you can observe many migratory and wading bird species and outwit with some skill at the right time of the year, flatfish, pike, sea trout and salmon. From the ferry port you can reach the islands of Ulvön, Trysunda (both UNESCO heritage).
Approximately 800 meters away is a Süßwasserfjord, the Afjorden, with harbor access to the sea and a more than 22 km long river (pike, perch, pikeperch, salmonids and others. Renke, whitefish, herring) is about 1 km away. Not far from the house, a small mountain (summit with lake, NSG) invites to hiking in idyllic nature with stunning views or berry and mushroom picking. Attention moose area.
The house has a 1200 m2 garden and is surrounded by water in a broader sense. The sea is around 700 meters away. In Hummelbucht is a wooded "lonely" island surrounded by a sandy beach. This can be achieved by land, depending on wind conditions.,

The pike contest takes place again in June. Info see: www. pikechallenge. com

The harbor with its hikers' restaurant offers a typical Swedish menu in its excellent restaurant.

Next chair lift for downhill skiing at Skuletberket,
near entrance south of the Skuleskogen National Park.

You can undertake multi-day tours in the beautiful landscape of Lapland from here via Vilhelmina on the Vildmarksvägen or the Sagavägen.

We really enjoyed our stay and felt welcome from the moment we entered the house. The house is cosy and very suited for dog owners. Its location makes it a great base if you want to explore the area, and there is a lot to see here.
