AREA
Peace of Muskoka Bay is a cottage surrounded by Muskoka rocks and evergreens with a few gardens peppering the property. Overlooking Muskoka Bay, this property rests on a prime piece of Muskoka's waterfront.
PROPERTY
Flagstone walkways and patios are intertwined with the natural rocky foundation this cottage was developed on. The tall trees provide just the right amount of privacy, without compromising the excellent Muskoka Bay view. There are plenty of places to sit and relax, including a beautiful Muskoka room and outdoor fire pit right at the water's edge. The water's edge is more rocky than sandy and the depth at end of dock is around 10 feet.
INTERIOR
The interior of Peace of Muskoka Bay is taken right out of a cottage magazine. Dark hardwood floors made from 100-year old Beechwood combined with a neutral colour palette and classically-inspired decor make for a perfect balance of classic and modern Muskoka. The main floor is tied together by a double-sided, stone fireplace that breathes warmth into the living space, even when it's not in use.
MAIN FLOOR
There is seating for eight in the dining room and seating for six in the Muskoka Room. The kitchen features a gas burner stove, double fridge and pantry for extra storage space during longer stays. There are cathedral ceilings and hardwood floors, with the added modern benefit of a flat screen TV and satellite for rainy days. The whole cottage is equipped with "Nest" AC technology. Peace of Muskoka Bay also provides four queen bedrooms, two of which have closets and dressers for extra storage space.
UPPER LEVEL
The upper level is fitted with a large washroom, complete with shower and farmers sink.
