Welcome to the “Mini-Haubarg” — your charming retreat on the North Sea!
Just a stone’s throw from the Hochdorfer Garten cultural landmark, our lovingly restored thatched-roof country house in Tating welcomes you. The house underwent extensive renovation in 2022 and was redesigned as a sustainable, modern passive house—without losing any of its original charm.
Leisure & Surroundings
The beach at St. Peter-Ording is just a 5-minute drive or a 15-minute bike ride away. The new Tating Sports Park, featuring soccer golf, paddle tennis, and more, is right nearby—as is a cozy bakery for your breakfast rolls.
When the weather’s bad, the Spielscheune, about 200 m away, offers great entertainment for kids, while adults can wind down the day in the adjacent Felix Bar. You can conveniently do your major shopping in St. Peter-Ording Süd or Garding.

Whether you’re a surfer, sunbather, or nature lover—the “Mini-Haubarg” is the perfect place for you.

Mini-Haubarg:

With approximately 95 square meters of living space, the Mini-Haubarg offers plenty of room for up to 4 people—ideal for families, couples, or friends looking for something special. In the spacious living and dining area, a high-quality fireplace ensures cozy evenings. From here, you have direct access to the sun terrace overlooking the mature private garden, bordered by a Frisian wall and blooming shrub roses—a true idyll.

The modern, fully equipped kitchen-diner, featuring a cooking island, high-quality furnishings, and a spacious dining table, leaves nothing to be desired. A separate guest restroom rounds out the first floor.
Upstairs, you’ll find two cozy bedrooms:
• A bedroom with a double bed,
• A bedroom with two single beds—also ideal for children.
A modern shower room ensures your comfort.

We’ve got the little ones covered: The Mini-Haubarg is equipped with a crib and a baby seat to make it child-friendly. Of course, a washer-dryer, Wi-Fi, and a flat-screen TV are also available to you.

Check-in is from 3:00 to 16:30, and check-out is from 09:00 to 10:00.
