"Bi de Kark" Vacation Home: History Meets Modern Comfort

Welcome to the "Bi de Kark" vacation home, a charming retreat in idyllic Tating. The 120-square-meter house can accommodate up to 8 people and warmly welcomes your four-legged friends as well. Built in 1696, the building once served as a parish tavern and still impresses today with its historic inscription on the facade. It has been completely renovated in accordance with the latest sustainable standards, perfectly blending history and modernity.

Living Area and Amenities

On the first floor, you’ll find a spacious living-dining area with an open kitchen, a large dining table, and a cozy seating area —ideal for social gatherings with family and friends. The first of four bedrooms is also located on the first floor and is furnished with a comfortable double bed (180x200 cm). You’ll also find a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, as well as a small utility room with a washing machine.

A stylish, railing-free staircase leads you to the upper floor. Here, you’ll find three additional bedrooms: Two of them are identical, each with a cozy bed (140x200 cm), and another bedroom with a spacious double bed (180x200 cm). A large bathroom with a walk-in shower and bathtub rounds out the amenities.

Outdoor Area

In front of the house, a furnished patio with a grill invites you to enjoy relaxing moments outdoors. A small lawn offers additional space for playing and relaxing. The lockable garden shed provides secure storage for the bicycles you bring with you.

The house is located directly on the village street in the town center.

Tating – Experience a vacation with all your senses

Explore the Tating Südermarsch by bike or unwind at the idyllic little harbor of Ehstensiel. This is where the Wadden Sea National Park begins—a World Natural Heritage Site with a unique diversity of animal and plant species. Relax in the Baroque “Hochdorfer Garten” with its exotic shrubs and historic fruit trees, and enjoy coffee and cake at the on-site café.

Leisure and Activities

Sports, fun, and entertainment for the whole family are provided by the golf course at Deichgrafenhof, the tennis court, a freshwater fishing lake, or the traditional Klootstock jumping—a sporting challenge that’s a lot of fun.
