About this house rental
Welcome to our cozy vacation home in Kiatorp, Fagerhult, in the densely forested region of Småland.

The house is located near the lake (about a 3-minute walk). You’ll be staying surrounded by nature in a small cluster of vacation homes, right on Lake Kiasjön in beautiful Småland.

It’s located outside of any towns, so it’s very quiet. There is no through traffic. Ideal for your children. In the lake, you’ll mainly catch pike and perch, but even if you just want to go for a dip, swim, or enjoy nature and the peace and quiet, you’ll be in very good hands here. We also offer the option to rent a canoe.
The house itself can accommodate up to 4 people.
In addition, a separate small guest house is included in the price as extra lodging or a playroom for the “little ones.” It is located just a few meters from the main house.
With two bedrooms, an open-concept living room, and direct access to the kitchen, you’ll find plenty of space to spend time with family or friends. Both bedrooms have been recently renovated and furnished with new furniture. An open fireplace ensures cozy evenings, and we provide a certain amount of firewood.
The bathroom will be completely renovated in the winter of 2025/2026, including a new shower, toilet, etc.
The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, electric stove (ceramic cooktop) with oven, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and much more.
A washing machine is also available in a separate room.
A highlight is certainly the large terrace that wraps around two sides of the house, furnished with comfortable seating.
There are two swimming spots on the lake. One of them features a sandy beach, a dock, and a floating raft. At the second spot, in addition to a dock and a floating raft, there is also a sauna house available for guests’ use.
Both swimming spots are used exclusively by guests of the vacation community. Access to the vacation homes is also restricted to these guests only.
Additional amenities: Free Wi-Fi with 50 GB per week, Google Chromecast so you can use your own Netflix, Amazon Prime, or similar accounts.
The house is heated by an air-source heat pump, which can also be used as an air conditioner on particularly hot days.
Dogs are allowed by prior arrangement. Please inquire in advance.
There is a small grocery store in nearby Fagerhult and two larger ones in Högsby. Oskarshamn and Kalmar, both coastal cities, also offer a wider selection of restaurants and shops. Another popular highlight in the area is day trips to Astrid Lindgren’s World. Other attractions, such as Aboda Klint with its climbing garden and More Castle, are also worth a visit.
We, the owners, live just a few kilometers away and are your German-speaking contacts on site. The minimum rental period is 7 days; check-in is on Saturdays or by arrangement.

We charge €15.00 per week for canoe rental.
Electricity costs are €0.39 per kWh and will be deducted from the security deposit of
