About this house rental
Lovely holiday home located in the beautiful Virserum cottages at Dackestupet. Perfect place for the whole family with nice beaches by the lake and a variety of activities. The nature and Virserum Lake are exceptionally beautiful and offer wonderful views. Dackestupet is an outdoor facility for both summer and winter activities located 500m away. During the summer, this is the place for cycling enthusiasts as there are mountain bike trails and a skills area. There are also cycling routes that take you past historical sites and rolling landscapes in the Småland highlands. There are lovely trails for hiking and trail running as well. At the top of Dackestupet's viewpoint, you can truly enjoy the beautiful view of the lake and Virserum. Pack your swimsuits and finish with a refreshing swim. In winter, you can enjoy both downhill and cross-country skiing. There is also ski rental and café Toppstugan. You can barbecue in the grill cabin Dackegrottan. The house has a large, pleasant deck with outdoor furniture where you can relax. You have a nice living room with a dining area and a living room area. The kitchen has been recently renovated and runs along a wall with a large terrace door leading out to the deck at the back. You sleep in two bright and fresh bedrooms. One bedroom has a 140cm bed and space for clothing storage, while the other bedroom has a family bunk bed where the lower bunk is 130 cm wide and the upper bunk is 80 cm wide. The sofa in the living room can be turned into a double extra bed. You have a garden that is perfect for play, and there is also a football field on the premises. There are nice beaches in the area. The nearest beach is perfect for younger children with its shallow sandy shore. Unusually for a lake, there are also lovely cliffs, giving a feeling of the archipelago. Many coves are available for those who have their own SUP, canoe, or kayak. The larger beach with a jetty is usually suitable for older children and adults. Around the lake, you can enjoy a refreshing walk or run. The distance is about 7 kilometers and offers beautiful views of the surroundings. Grocery stores, pizzerias, and restaurants are available in Virserum's center. There is also a museum, art gallery, and herb garden. Not far from Virserum, you have Astrid Lindgren's World, Målilla Moose Park, Sweden Zipline, Kleva Mine, and rail biking on the narrow gauge track. Emån River is known for its excellent fishing, and Virserum Lake also offers good fishing opportunities.
