The small village Älgshult consists of 4 houses that are on the edge of the lake. The perfect starting point for many day trips such as to Astrid Lindgren's World, Elk Park, Kingdom of Crystal, gold panning, driving handcar, Boda Borg, climbing park and more. Or just enjoy the peace in the forest with the beautiful nature. Here you can walk for hours, pick berries and mushrooms and let you float on the lake. Älgshult is 4 km from Hultsfred. There is everything for your daily needs.

This is a great house if you want a quiet holiday. We had expected it to be set up for our arrival and it wasn't . It seemed like the house hadn't be aired for a long time. Appliances were turned off completely eg the fridge. We were disappointed with the lake as to us it was more like a swamp.

Das Haus bietet alles, was man als Familie oder kleine Gruppe in Schweden braucht. Typische schwedische Häuser inmitten eines Wald- und Wiesengeländes. Die Sauna wird mit Holzofen beheizt, das Ruderboot kann zur Überfahrt zur kleinen Badeinsel in der Mitte des kleinen Sees vor dem Haus genutzt werden. Die Schärenküste oder die Insel Öland sind als Tagesausflug empfehlenswert, ein Elchspark und drei große Badeseen mit Grill- und Badestegen sowie ausgewiesene Wanderwege sind in unmittelbarer Nähe, es gibt eine Draisinenstrecke mit Bahnhof im Nachbarort und Astrid-Lindgrens Elternhaus ist auch nicht weit. Alles in allem vielseitig, erlebnisreich und viel Natur. Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber akzeptabel.

Environnement de rêve pour un Noël en famille : en lisière de forêt au bord d'un lac , la nature, des oies sauvages, des cygnes, des biches qui viennent se nourrir à proximité. Bien que n'ayant pas rencontré Kathrin, elle s'est montré très disponible pour répondre à nos questions à distance, ainsi que très attentionnée dans la préparation de petites décorations de Noel pour notre arrivée. La maison est joliment décorée et très chaleureuse. Elle est bien équipée, rien ne manque. Le sauna au feu de bois est un vrai plaisir. Commerces à proximité,on a même pu trouver un sapin de Noël dans une coopérative. Pas mal d'activités aux alentours. Tout était parfait. C'est avec plaisir que l'on y séjounerait à nouveau. Les autres saisons doivent y être magnifiques aussi.

Das Haus liegt in einem kleinen "Dorf" mit 5 Häusern an einem See. Leider kann man in dem See nicht baden, aber die nächste Badestelle ist 10-15 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt und nicht überlaufen. Es gibt sehr viel Wald in der Umgebung, den man auch erkunden kann, wenn man sich im Vorfeld gegen die Mücken wappnet. Der nächste Ort ist Hultsfred, welcher nur 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt ist und viele Supermärkte, Tankstellen etc. bietet. Das Haus an sich verfügt über 2 Doppelbetten, 2 Einzelbetten und 2 Schlafsofas. Die Ausstattung mit Geschirr ist mehr als ausreichend. Es steht auch eine Waschmaschine und ein Geschirrspüler zur Verfügung. Für kalte Tage gibt es einen Kamin, in der Küche noch einen alten Herd, der mit Holz angefeuert wird, div. Heizkörper und Elektroheizungen. Alles in allem war die Unterkunft für unseren Erholungsurlaub sehr schön.

Wir hielten uns als Familie mit zwei Mädchen (5 und 8 Jahre) dort für zwei Wochen auf und haben die Ruhe und entspannende Aussicht von der Veranda sehr genossen. Dieses Haus hat eine Einrichtung, die alt und neu gut kombiniert. Spiele wären vor Ort gewesen, die Unterkunft war sauber und gepflegt, Fragen wurden per Email immer schnell beantwortet. Einiges der Ausstattung des Hauses ist nicht neu (z.B. Waschmaschine oder Küche), aber funktionstüchtig. Ein paar wenige Dinge wären allerdings zum Richten (z.B. Moskitonetze, Verandatür). Uns hat die gute Grundausstattung an einfachen Haushaltswaren überrascht (z.B. Salz, Kerzen, Waschmittel, Klopapier), das haben wir in einer anderen FeWo nicht so erlebt. Dieses Haus eignet sich ideal, um Tagesausflüge in die Umgebung zu unternehmen. Es liegt sehr zentral inmitten verschiedener Ausflugsorte, die einer Familie entsprechen (z.B. Astrid Lindgrens Welt, Elchpark, Bullerbü...). Auch wandern oder Bootfahren kann man dort gut und es bereitet den Kindern eine Wahnsinnsfreude. Aber Achtung: Zecken! Wir hatten alle irgendwann mal einen. Zum Baden ist der kleine See vorm Haus ein wenig gefährlich, weil er zahlreiche Schlingpflanzen am Ufer hat, von der Badeplattform in der Mitte des Sees wäre eine Erfrischung allerdings vorstellbar. Für uns war der Wind zu kalt zum Baden. Die Sauna ist toll, mit Holz zu beheizen. Der Kauf von Holz geht extrem unkompliziert, denn man legt das Geld einfach in eine Box am Schuppen nebenan, dort kann man sich dann einen Sack Holz nehmen. Für unsere wenigen Regentage war diese Option einfach genial. Man hört die Hauptstraße nur bei Westwind, und dann auch nur leise. Wenn der Zug an der nahe gelegenen Bahnlinie tutet, ist das schon lauter, aber bei ca. 2-4 Signalen am Tag eigentlich schon romantisch. Insgesamt fanden wir dieses Ferienhaus super und hatten dort einen sehr entspannenden Aufenthalt.

Gutes Feriendomizil mit optimalen Bedingungen für größere Gruppen, da großes Bad tolle Sitzgruppen zum Essen und Zusammensein. Das Haus befindet sich in einem typischen Weiher mit drei weiteren Wohnhäusern. Im See darf leider nicht geangelt werden, als Ausgleich besuchte uns fast täglich eine Elchkuh zum Frühstücken im See. Nach bereits 25 Jahren Schwedenurlaub kann man die Region Småland zum Kennenlernen Schwedens nur empfehlen.

Das Ferienhaus liegt ca. 300m von einer Landstraße entfernt und ist sehr gut erreichbar. Der Ort Hultsfrid ist in wenigen Autominuten erreichbar und bietet viele Möglichkeiten sich mit Lebensmittel und sonstigem zu versorgen. Der kleine See am Grundstück bietet eine schöne optik, ist aber zum Schwimmen eher weniger geeignet. Keine Alleinlage (4-5 Häuser beieinander) aber wir hatten eine sonnige und ruhige Zeit hier.
