About this chalet rental
We welcome you to a green setting, an all-wooden family chalet on the edge of the forest on the heights of Gérardmer, completely refurbished in 2024.
Come and relax and enjoy the best that nature has to offer, with all the modern comforts as a bonus.
On the program: Skiing, sledding, snowshoeing, hiking, swimming, sailing, paddleboarding, fishing, picking, visits ...
Then to end the day, immerse yourself in the Nordic bath or open a book in front of a fireplace.
The chalet is made of wood, recently renovated in 2024.
This is a family chalet that can accommodate 10 people (2 double beds and 6 beds in the dormitory)
You will find a living area: the modern equipped kitchen, open to the living room and the large dining table. A wood stove to warm up the atmosphere and the sofas.
Board games and books are available.
Firewood is available under the chalet.
In the cupboards you will also find a raclette and fondue set.
Coffee and tea are available.
The sleeping area separated from the first by a thick door consists of 2 adult bedrooms (160×200 beds) and 1 dormitory for 6 children (4 beds 80×190 and 2 beds 80×180).
A bathroom is located between the bedrooms, with a large shower and toilet. Double sink, towel dryer.
Separate toilet is located in the hallway.
In the entrance of the chalet you can put your jackets and boots, the floor is heated, and there is a ski boot dryer. The entrance tray is made to dry skis or wet clothes.
Snowshoes are available in the entrance in winter (4 adult snowshoes and 2 children).
Outside, a Nordic bath, to be heated over a wood fire (about 3 hours of heating with regular maintenance of the fire in summer, 5 to 6 hours in winter). Ideal temperature 36-38°. You can bring flip-flops to access the Nordic bath more easily.
An electric plancha is available outside.
Large outdoor terrace and second terrace around the Nordic bath with a view of Lake Gerardmer.
The price includes cleaning and sheets/towels.
Linvosges bathrobes in the adult rooms.
Towels are available for all occupants.
Sheets are made of fine Linvosges cotton.
Hand towels are available in the bathrooms and dish towels in the kitchen.
