About this cabin rental
Nestled in the quiet beauty of Walland, this two-bedroom cabin offers a calm, comfortable place to rest, reflect, and reset. With two queen bedrooms and a lofted space featuring a futon, the home invites unhurried mornings, afternoon reading, and evenings spent winding down after time outdoors.
Inside, an indoor fireplace creates a warm gathering place on cool evenings, while outside, a fire pit, a screened-in back porch, a front porch swing, and a hammock by the creek offer countless spots to sit, breathe, and simply be. Whether you’re sipping coffee at sunrise, journaling in the quiet, or watching the light shift through the trees, the cabin encourages a slower rhythm.
Two full bathrooms provide space and comfort, including one with a jetted soaking tub, perfect for long baths after a day of walking, thinking, or creating. The cabin is comfortably heated and cooled year-round, making it an easy retreat in any season.
Thoughtfully arranged and gently welcoming, this space is especially well-suited for writers, artists, and those on sabbatical or retreat, anyone seeking stillness, inspiration, and a place where time feels generous. It’s a peaceful home base for experiencing the beauty of the foothills and returning to yourself.
And when you want a little company beyond the creek and the fire, you’ll find WiFi, a TV, and Bluetooth speakers ready for cozy nights in.

The cabin was clean for the most part. I think the group we followed were late leaving the property which made cleanup tricky. We did notice small bugs in the bathroom and tub. The front and back porches were excellent. The creek behind the cabin was perfect for wading and splashing with the dog and the hammock is a nice addition. The kitchen was clean and user-friendly. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. We arrived a little early making sure we could find the property and spoke to the host. She was kind and informative. Overall this was an excellent experience and we hope to stay here in the future.
