I paid around ₹6,000 per night, including taxes, for a Deluxe Room, and honestly, after staying here, I feel it was absolutely not worth the price. First, at check-in, the reception staff gave us a normal room instead of the Deluxe Room we had actually booked. We had to point it out and then they changed the room. But even after changing it, the Deluxe Room looked almost the same as the normal room. The only noticeable difference for us was the bathtub. The room is also very small—just enough for two people. The pictures shown on the booking websites and the actual room felt quite different. The overall condition of both the room and bathroom was average, and there was a weird smell in the room. The hot/cold water situation was frustrating throughout our stay. Sometimes there was no hot water and sometimes the cold water wasn't working properly. At one point, our bathroom door got locked unexpectedly. It was eventually sorted out, but these are basic things that simply shouldn't happen in a resort charging ₹6,000 per night. But the most disturbing experience happened on the day we checked in. Someone actually entered our room using a key. Apparently, it was a mistake from the staff's side. I understand that mistakes can happen, but how is it okay for someone else to be able to open an occupied guest's room with a key? For me, this was not a small issue. A hotel/resort room is supposed to be your private and safe space. After this incident, I genuinely did not feel comfortable or secure. This is the main reason I would not recommend this resort to anyone. As for the facilities, the pool was clean and was actually one of the better things about the resort. It has different sections for different heights, including kids and adults. However, if you're visiting on weekdays, don't expect too many activities. Rain dancing and other activities are only available on weekends. The spa was closed and the gym was not operational during our stay. So basically, apart from the room, garden and pool, there wasn't much to do. The location is okay. It's around 3.2 km from the highway, after passing through a village, but the road is good and the resort is easy enough to reach. The evening weather and outside view were nice. The positives: the staff were generally good, room service was really good, breakfast was good, and the food overall was fine. But honestly, those positives don't make up for the overall experience for me. ₹6,000 per night is a lot for a property where the room doesn't feel worth the price, several facilities aren't operational, weekday activities are limited, basic water issues happen, and most importantly, there was a serious room-security/privacy incident. I personally would not stay here again and would not recommend it at this price.
