About this house rental

This 1907 brick Victorian home underwent a year long restoration down to the studs, including structural reinforcement, and now shines once again!

The home has an original exposed brick wall and beams, an electric fireplace, and an entertainer’s dream backyard.

We were told by many that the best route to fix this home would be to tear it down and build new. There is no way we were doing that.

Enjoy SLC in this historic home with a modern flare.

Ever since I was a kid, I was fascinated with old homes and the charm that came with them; excellent brickwork, tall ceilings, and so much more. The Victorian was purchased in complete disrepair. Everything needed to be replaced and it had substantial structural issues. Purchasing this home, I truly had no idea how much work would end up going into this restoration but in the end stands a fully remodeled historic 1907 Victorian. To restore old homes is my passion and this project, although difficult at times, was a labor of love.

This historic home boasts 5 full bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, a huge driveway w/2 car garage and a partially fenced backyard (almost the entire backyard is fenced minus the driveway area. The home has two kitchens giving you ample place to cook and entertain.

The backyard is an entertainer’s dream that includes TWO firepits (one wood burning and another gas), a hot tub, a turf patch with outdoor seating, a hammock, and even an outdoor dining table for 6.

We put our heart and soul into this house transforming it from one of the most run-down in the area to its current condition. Love was put into the restoration of this old home so that people can enjoy a piece of SLC history for many years to come.

Main Kitchen
Large fully stocked kitchen with huge island for seating of 7 guests and an original exposed brick wall.

Back Kitchen:
Attached to Bedroom 5 is a fully stocked kitchen as well. Small bistro table in this kitchen.

Living Room on Main Floor -
Modern furnishing with a very cozy atmosphere right off the main kitchen.
There is no dining table in the entire home. The kitchen island has seating for eating and the back kitchen has a small bistro table. Huge 60’’ Smart TV on the wall.

Living Room in Loft -
The loft area has its own thermostat so air flow is very good in hot or cold temps. There is a desk with an office space and some cozy leather loungers. There is also another 55’’ Smart TV in the loft.

Laundry 1 -
There is a laundry room in the basement. It is finished but does have concrete floors and walls. Be careful going down to the laundry as the head height is only around 6’ 8’’.

Landry 2 -
there is also a stackable washer/dryer in Bedroom 5.


Exterior/ Driveway+ Garage:
1. There is a 2 car extra long garage for your use. I do have my small trailer parked at the very end of the garage but you should have no problem still getting your vehicle in. There is still enough room for another 5-6 cars off the street on the long driveway.
2. The backyard is almost fully fenced except for the driveway area.
3. The front and backyard are completely gravel. There is only a small turf patch in the backyard. There is no real grass on the property.

You have access to the entire property. No space is shared. I do keep my trailer parked in the garage but you should have no issues getting your vehicles in and out. It is an extended 2 car garage.





EVENTS:
Occasionally we have guests ask if they can have a birthday party, a family reunion, or another event.

We do allow small events and you are responsible for catering and for cleaning up the yard fully after your event. You are welcome to bring tables and chairs for the backyard. Please inquire about hosting events at the property.
House Guidelines
I’m excited to host you. These simple guidelines help us take great care of the home, respect the neighbors, and ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay for everyone.
1. Local Guests
If you live locally, please send me a quick message before booking so we can briefly connect prior to confirming your stay.
2. Occupancy
The home comfortably accommodates up to 10 registered guests.
If you’re planning to have additional visitors — even briefly — please check with me first.
For safety and insurance reasons, all overnight guests must be included on the reservation.
3. No Smoking
This is a strictly non-smoking property, inside and outside.
If smoking occurs, a $200 per day cleaning/remediation fee may be applied due to odor removal and deep cleaning requirements.
4. Check-In & Check-Out
I’m happy to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs when the schedule allows. Just send me a quick request in advance.
Unapproved changes that interfere with the cleaning schedule may result in a $50 fee.
5. Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM in accordance with local guidelines.
Thank you for helping keep things peaceful for the neighbors.
6. Pets
If you’re bringing a pet, there is a $25 per night, per pet fee. This is requested separately after booking since it isn’t included in the reservation total.
For longer stays, I’m happy to discuss a reduced or capped fee — my goal is simply to keep things fair for everyone.
By bringing a pet, you agree to a few simple expectations to help keep the home in great condition:
No pets on furniture or beds
Pets must be house-trained and should not be left unattended unless crated
All waste must be cleaned up promptly
Guests are responsible for their pets during their stay, including any damage or additional cleaning that may be needed.
7. Hot Tub
To help keep the hot tub clean and enjoyable for everyone:
Please rinse off lotions, oils, and dirt before entering
No food or drinks in the hot tub
Use is at your own risk
Children must be supervised at all times
If extra cleaning is required beyond normal service, a $125 fee may apply.
8. Mail & Deliveries
There is no mailbox available for guest use.
For deliveries, please use an Amazon Locker or similar service.
If you’re staying for an extended period and need mail delivered, just message me and we can coordinate options.
9. Reservation Changes
If your plans change after booking, just reach out as early as possible and I’ll do my best to help where I can.
Adjustments to dates or guest count may affect pricing or availability.
Please note that changes removing reserved nights may still follow standard cancellation terms.

These guidelines are just here to help keep the property in good shape and make sure everyone has a great stay. Nearly all guests are wonderful, and when the home is treated with care, I’m very easygoing and flexible. It is my pleasure to host you.

Jeremy was great and the house is awesome!!! We stayed with multiple adults and children - the house was clean, spacious and had great amenities. We were all very comfortable. Jeremy responded very quickly and answered lots of questions for us. If we visit Utah again, we will try to book this place again.
