    Stayed here for 2 days! The money spent was worth by the balcony overlooking the ocean. Staff were super friendly and location is little away from ahangama town. So its a bit offbeat and comes with its advantage! Loved the small food spots near to the property. Bus stop is nearby and moving around the coastline is not even a problem. There is a very good surfing spot just 100m from the property. Since its very near to the sea, there are visible flaws on the construction. Little wall cracks and misaligned floor tiles here and there. But still the peace this place brings make you stay for a little more. They have kettle for boiling water and hope they provide couple of tea bags on our next stay.

    Rooms were big but for every thing you have ask even for water bottles. No housekeeping. No kitchen for food or tea at all.

    I had an exceptional stay at this beautiful beachfront property in Goviyapana, Ahangama. From the moment I arrived, it truly felt like a home away from home. The views were absolutely stunning — waking up to the sound of the waves and the peaceful ocean scenery was an experience I’ll never forget. The property itself is very well maintained, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, making the stay both comfortable and relaxing. Dilum, the owner, is honestly one of the best people I met in Sri Lanka and truly the heart of this place. His kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality made my entire trip unforgettable. He went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect — always checking in, helping with recommendations, and making sure I was comfortable at all times. It’s rare to meet someone so sincere and caring, and he didn’t just host me, he made me feel like family. Thanks to him, this trip became one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. One of the most heartwarming highlights was his lovely golden retriever, Ro, who instantly stole my heart and added so much joy to the whole experience. The staff were also wonderful — polite, attentive, and always ready to help. The location is perfect as well, right in the center of the south coast, making it very easy to travel to Mirissa, Galle, Weligama, Hiriketiya, Unawatuna, and even Yala. Everything felt conveniently accessible while still enjoying a peaceful beachfront atmosphere. I had such a great time here and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic, and welcoming stay in southern Sri Lanka. I would love to come back again!
