Visitor’s tax/lodging tax of the Hanseatic City of Wismar (5%):
The Hanseatic City of Wismar levies a visitor’s tax/lodging tax of 5% on the travel price of the booked accommodation. This is not included in the travel price and will be billed separately upon booking. Since the visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax is not based on the number of people, guests of the Hanseatic City of Wismar will not be issued a visitor’s card.

Here, our vacation guests have access to 4 new, state-of-the-art vacation apartments with a living area of 46 m², accommodating 2–4 people of all ages. The high level of comfort and cozy furnishings, in particular, ensure an exceptional sense of well-being. The bright, welcoming rooms provide a pleasant atmosphere and are themed to reflect the maritime charm of the Hanseatic city of Wismar. Each apartment comes with a free parking space right next to the building. A flat-rate Wi-Fi connection is also available to you at no charge.
The old harbor of Wismar, with its restaurants and shops perfect for strolling, is just a few minutes’ walk away. The historic market square and the four Gothic churches are about a 12-minute walk away.
For example, take a harbor tour or a short trip on one of the excursion boats to the nearby island of Poel, or walk through the Wassertor to reach the bar district on the Lohberg or Wismar’s historic old town with its Gothic quarter—a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2002—in just a few minutes. Outside the Hanseatic city, there are many great beaches within a 15-minute drive.
