Visitor’s tax in Zierow
From January 1 through December 31 of each year, a visitor’s tax is charged in the municipality of Zierow. This tax is remitted by the property owner to the municipality of Zierow. Please note that the visitor’s tax must be paid on-site upon key pickup for the booked period.
Rates: Ages 16 and up: €1.00/day | Ages 6–16: €0.50/day

Like few other places on Wismar Bay, Zierow has been blessed with everything locals and visitors could wish for. Deciduous and mixed woodlands, lush meadows, and fertile fields stretch all the way to the beach—perfect for relaxing walks.
Here in Zierow, there’s a child-friendly, DLRG-supervised, gorgeous sandy beach where you can enjoy a vacation with the whole family.
Since July 2010, two idyllically situated, family-friendly vacation homes equipped with modern heating systems have been available for your stay.
Both homes have been rated 4 stars by the German Tourism Association (DTV).
The vacation homes, featuring a terrace, grill, beach chair, playground equipment, and a sandbox for the little ones, as well as parking spaces, are available year-round and are located right near the beach (approx. 400 m).

Surcharge per pet per day: 7.00 € (max. 2 dogs)
plus a one-time fee of 30.00 € for final cleaning
Security deposit: €150.00

Recreational Activities
The riding stable adjacent to the vacation home area offers horseback riding for equestrian enthusiasts, and you can really treat yourself at the Zierower Hof restaurant.
Special recreational activities are available at the Ostsee-Camping Ferienpark Zierow—surfing, fishing, mini-golf, biking, bocce, table tennis, bowling, and volleyball. Golf is available at the Hohen Wieschendorf Golf Club, four kilometers away, and sightseeing and charter flights are offered at the Wismar-Müggenburg Airport.
Explore the nearby UNESCO World Heritage city of Wismar with its old brick houses and the maritime charm of a Hanseatic city.
