Come and escape to the pristine shores of Maui and stay at our family’s Westin timeshare, one of the island’s most coveted retreats. Since we cannot make it there this year, we would love to share it with you. We’ve always enjoyed bringing our children and making memories. While it doesn’t have the kid pirate pool at the next-door location of what you could walk to if you want to, feels like the perfect blend of fun for kids with a slide and child pool but also relaxing and quiet areas for adults. Our family enjoys walking to the nextdoor Westin properties for additional dining opportunities, taking surf lessons in Lahaina, exploring the beaches of the North Shore. We love bringing snorkel gear and swimming with the turtles at various beaches nearby. We also love black rocks at Sheraton nearby. We have used the local nanny service and enjoy a date night at Miso Phat Sushi! We are happy to give you all of our local secrets and adventures! Upon booking, we will change the reservation to your name and provide you with prompt confirmation leaving you without any worries. To ensure your arrival is as smooth as the Maui breeze, here are a few helpful details regarding your stay at The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas:

1. Check-In & Check-Out

Check-In Time: 4:00 PM

Check-Out Time: 10:00 AM

Front Desk: The resort offers 24-hour guest reception. You will check in under your name just like a hotel guest (I will provide you with a confirmation number once the booking is finalized).

2. Parking & Transportation

Parking: Self-parking is generally included for villa guests (please verify your specific ownership tier), while valet services are available for a daily fee.

Shuttle Service: The Westin offers a complimentary shuttle that runs between sister properties and down to Whalers Village, so you can enjoy dinner and drinks without worrying about driving!

3. Housekeeping

Timeshare Stay: As this is a villa rental, please note that "daily" maid service is typically not included. Most stays include a mid-week "tidy" or trash-and-towel service. If you need extra towels or supplies, the front desk is happy to assist (though some items may incur a small fee).

4. Fees & Taxes

Hawaii State TAT (Transient Accommodations Tax): All guests staying in Hawaii timeshares are required by law to pay a daily occupancy tax at check-out. This is paid directly to the resort and usually ranges from $15–$30 per night depending on the unit size.

No Resort Fees: One of the best perks of renting our villa is that we do not charge a daily resort fee, saving you roughly $40–$50 per day compared to hotel bookings!

5. Grocery Delivery

Want to arrive to a stocked fridge? There are several local services (like Maui Grocery Service or Instacart) that can deliver right to the resort so you can start your vacation the moment you walk through the door.

A Quick "Local" Recommendation

If you arrive early and your villa isn't quite ready, the resort will happily hold your luggage. Head straight to the Inu Pool Bar, grab a Mai Tai, and let the vacation begin!
