Our cozy 2-bedroom chalet-style TRUE log cabin is nestled into the side of Cove Mountain in Chalet Village, just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and GSMNP trail head.
The cabin sleeps up to 4 adults and features a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a fireplace, and a private deck with a hot tub.
We're also just a short drive from all the best things to do in Gatlinburg, including Dollywood. You're also close to hiking trails, waterfalls, and scenic overlooks.
A Heavily Wooded and Private Cabin in Chalet Village
Located 2,000 feet up Middle Ridge Mountain, Ursa Manor is a secluded cabin nestled in the woods of Chalet Village. Our guests will enjoy the many amenities we have to offer, including:

Driving Instructions
Please be prepared to drive on winding, steep mountain roads. If snow is forecasted please bring snow chains. In rain or normal weather car with all-wheel drive (AWD) is still recommended. Our driveway is very short but also has a steep grade. Please be prepared for this.
Bear Safety
Chalet Village is one of the top places in the country to see black bears. Please do not leave food, drink, or medicines outside or in your vehicle. This will attract all manner of wildlife. Please also keep doors locked at all times.
Housekeeping
We provide a "starter pack" of perishable supplies, including detergent, soaps, paper towels, and toilet paper. You are responsible for resupplying yourself with more of these items if you should run out. We do not deliver fresh towels or restock perishable items during your stay. If you wish to have items delivered, please contact Smoky Mountain Grocery or Chalet Village Market. They will deliver items to the cabin.

Overall was a great stay. We had a few issues throughout the rental duration, but when the owners were contacted, they were very responsive. I often got almost instantaneous responses to questions or issues.The Location of the rental was great. While you're definitely going to be traveling up the mountain quite a bit, it was a nice in-between location from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It is a nice "home base" if you plan on seeing the sites. It is rare to find a sectional couch for a rental like this, but it was nice to have one in this rental. The TV sets were nicely updated in each space. Most of the cookware that we needed was there. We didn't see any utensils for the grill, so we picked up some inexpensive ones from Walmart. The grill is also a charcoal park-style grill. I enjoyed cooking this way, but I also know that's not for everyone.Note: like many have said, the driveway is VERY STEEP. I have a 4-wheel drive SUV and it took a bit extra effort. We had a delivery person one day struggle to get up the driveway in their sedan. We met them down the hill. The beds were comfortable and the shower worked well. There was slow drainage in the one shower which made things slightly challenging, but we let the owners know. This location would definitely work well for smaller groups of 1-4 people. Compared to other locations, this one seems to have a bit more privacy that others I've stayed at. Internet was an A experience. There's also ample storage for clothes.

We enjoyed our stay overall, but there were a few areas where improvements could enhance the guest experience.The driveway was somewhat challenging to access, particularly for larger vehicles and ride-share services. On a few occasions, Uber drivers expressed concerns about navigating the entrance, which made transportation arrangements more difficult than expected.We also noticed a significant presence of ants around the hot tub area, which limited our ability to fully enjoy that amenity during our stay.With attention to these details, we believe the property could provide an even better experience for future guests.
