Our rustic and cozy apartment, Ole, is located in a typical Frisian thatched-roof house in Borgsum.
The restored Frisian farmstead Taarepswoi is located in the quiet island village of Borgsum. The red, thatched-roof building stands out strikingly against the spacious, well-maintained outdoor area, which features several terraced seating areas and a bike shed. Our apartment is located on the upper floor and is ideal for 2 to 3 guests looking to enjoy a relaxing vacation. The living area of this charming 43-square-meter vacation apartment is divided into a cozy dining area with a well-equipped kitchenette and a comfortable sitting area featuring a sleeper sofa (140 x 195 cm), Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and a stereo system. A small selection of vacation reading material is also available for you. The bedroom in the gable room is comfortably furnished and features a double bed (180 x 200 cm). The brightly tiled bathroom with a shower and window is spacious and offers plenty of counter space for your toiletries. The many small windows are typical of Frisian houses on Föhr and—along with the lovingly selected decor—give this apartment a warm, Frisian atmosphere. In the summer, our guests can enjoy wonderful sunny hours on the patio in the garden. Your well-behaved dog is also welcome. You can park your car in the shared parking lot directly in front of the house. Diagonally across the street is the local bakery, and next door is a bike rental shop. Borgsum also offers a nice restaurant serving good home-style cooking, the Borgsumer Mühle, a strawberry field where you can pick your own, a corn maze with an adventure mini-golf course, and, not to be forgotten, the famous Lembecksburg, now a ring wall from a bygone era.
