Electricity, bed linen and towels included. No smoking.. The Stable is a dog-friendly holiday cottage in the tranquil hamlet of Dukesfield, just 5 minutes from Bamburgh. This charming former sandstone stable has been stylishly converted with high-quality finishes throughout, providing a comfortable and elegant retreat for up to 4 guests with 2 bedrooms. Accommodation is all on a single level, featuring a living and dining area with a log burning stove, flat-screen Smart TV with Netflix, and a dining table seating 4, alongside a well-equipped kitchen with cooker and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, Nutribullet, and handheld blender. The property has a super-king-size bedroom with a vanity console, wardrobe, and TV, as well as a second bedroom with twin beds. Outside, guests can enjoy access to a shared central courtyard, barbecue, tennis courts, communal hot tub, communal gym, and children’s play area, with parking available near the property. Guests may bring up to 3 pets at £25 per pet per stay, which must be added during checkout or later via the Guest Portal. In addition, the property offers access to a shared paddocked area where children can play freely, as well as shared facilities including the tennis court, newly built gym with a treadmill, elliptical trainer, weight bench, free weights, exercise bike, and a shared hot tub. The Gathering Place, a large renovated detached farm building in the courtyard, provides a Wii, table tennis, and space for dinner parties for up to 24 people, ideal for larger gatherings. All Bamburgh First properties include Netflix, a portable Bose Bluetooth speaker, easy-lighting fire logs, and a selection of games such as Scrabble, Cluedo, and Monopoly, along with a hand-selected welcome pack and a voucher for a pound of Bamburgh Banger sausages redeemable in the village. Guests can also enjoy up to two free rounds of golf per property at Bamburgh Castle Golf Club and/or a free game of tennis on the village green. The Stable is a peaceful retreat perfect for families or friends looking to create lasting memories. Located just a 5-minute drive or a 20-minute stroll from the historic seaside village of Bamburgh, guests can explore the iconic Bamburgh Castle, sandy beaches, quaint village green, and a charming array of local shops, pubs, restaurants, tea houses, and cafes, making it an ideal destination for a relaxing or active holiday in Northumberland.
