This is not included in the travel price and will be billed separately upon booking. Since the visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax is not based on the number of people, guests of the Hanseatic City of Wismar will not be issued a visitor’s card.

Wismar is a city that exudes Hanseatic charm and is situated between Lübeck and Rostock. Since 2002, the Old Town, with its imposing brick churches, has been an UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Old Harbor is just a few minutes from the city center and attracts visitors with its promenade, traditional sailing ships, fishing boats, and sightseeing boats, as well as many cafés and restaurants. The island of Poel is just a few minutes’ drive away, where you can go swimming. You’ll find quiet and idyllic natural beaches, as well as long, wide sandy beaches.
