About this apartment rental
This memorable apartment is the perfect home base for your trip to Charleston. Located behind the historic Edmondston / Alston House Museum. Guests will find a serene space with a kitchenette / living room, as well as two bedrooms and two baths located on the 2nd floor. Very comfortable for 4 adults traveling together. Comfortable climate control, heating and air conditioning. Off street parking for one car. (sorry, no trucks or vans as they will not fit) Access to the Museum's ground floor piazza after the museum closes. With in walking distance to incredible restaurants, and the historic downtown area for sightseeing. Deluxe continental breakfast items pre-stocked in the kitchenette as well as coffee and tea. This awesome spot is the best address in Charleston. A great place to call homebase while you're away,

This is an amazing place to stay, right in the heart of historic Charleston, in the old exterior kitchen to the Edmondston-Alston House, right across the street from the battery. The rooms are tastefully decorated with antiques and well appointed, the AC worked well despite the heat outside (we were there in July), and the downstairs sitting room provides a great place to "eat in" or watch movies. The only possible inconvenience is that this southernmost tip of historic Charleston is bereft of cafes and restaurants, with most being a half-mile walk north. If you aren't up for this -- as some of us were not in the July heat -- Julie provides delicious homemade breakfasts -- ours consisted of ample quiches, muffins, and fruit -- and pedicabs are an inexpensive alternative to walking.Julie was an amazing host, we had a great time. One of our favorite memories was walking south on the battery at sunset to White Point Garden and discovering the live oaks there full of night herons and their chicks. And the tour of the Edmondston-Alston House was a great bonus. We would absolutely stay here again on a future trip to Charleston.

Perfect spot to enjoy Charleston! Close to restaurants, shopping, the water. Opportunity to enjoy a historic home, up close and personal. Julie is a fabulous hostess and her baked treats were a wonderful surprise.
