This was a lovely home. Clean and attractive. And well stocked. Since we don’t travel lightly, we slept in one room and used another for our suitcases. One morning a large male turkey stood with its tail spread wide, staring at its image in the basement glass doors and trying to engage with that other turkey!Having spent summers in this area, I have my favorite places to go:Four Seas Ice Cream in Centerville.For lunch or dinner take-out: Osterville Fish Market or Pizza 1 Subs 2, both on the corner of Route 28 and Osterville-West Barnstable Road. For dinner: Mattakeese’s Wharf in West Barnstable or Five Bays Bistro in Osterville.For breakfast or lunch: Morning Glory Cafe and Fig Tree Cafe, both in Marstons Mills, and The Daily Paper on West Main Street, Hyannis.And I always find something I need at Osterville Hardware.
