The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the staff were excellent. You couldn’t fault the hotel at all in terms of the cleanliness, staff and beauty.
Minor observation but the pool loungers were a bit run down.

It was incredibly lovely inside and out. Staying in an historic castle filled with antiques was a real treat. My nine year old grandson was not the only child there and the staff was so helpful. Breakfasts were extensive and amazing. Food was available almost 24 hours from the cafe/cafeteria and bar. We didn't try the Michelin restaurant for dinner (not with a kid). We decided not to go to near by Salamanca one day and just stayed on site. We sketched, read and swam in the pool in the former moat. An amazing place.
This isn't a criticism, just a fact. The stairs are what you would expect in a castle.

We love it here! Tranquility abounds here! The staff are fabulous and so friendly. The castle is outstanding and has been renovated to an impeccable standard and the rooms are perfect! The breakfast and meals are excellent quality. Thank you!
