About this farm stay rental
Come enjoy a slice of country heaven without leaving the city. Our tiny home is surrounded by beautiful views and charming farm animals. A truly unique and refreshing retreat. Wake up with a fresh cup of coffee on the front porch. Then, collect some fresh eggs from the chicken coop and whip up a tasty breakfast in the full kitchen. Relax and enjoy farm life only 7 minutes from historic Marietta Square. Home to restaurants, bars, and events. Truist Park is only 20 minutes as well!
The space
Enjoy 8 acres of beautiful farmland! At our tiny home you will feel like you are hidden away deep in the mountains as you sit on the porch and take in the beautiful scenery. The property features large pastures and wooded areas. Our ducks enjoy the pond and take an occasional dip in Olley Creek which divides the pastures. Our hand built bridge is perfect for a beautiful picture to remember your stay. Forage the creek bed and you may find an old arrowhead or two! At sunset relax and watch the deer visit our feeder. We want you to enjoy your stay and have created this little paradise to ensure that you do!
The house has a complete kitchen and a full bath. There is a full size futon bed and a loft sleeping area. The loft is a very tight space. Kids seem to love it but adults may find it too confined.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire house. You may use the pole barn for a picnic or to relax. The fire pit is also available and you can use the firewood if it is available, it usually is abundant. You will also have access to the propane grill. You may enter the pasture area but please do not do anything to upset the animals. You are also welcome to collect eggs for use during your stay but please only get what you will use during the stay.
We love to share our farm but our animals are our pets. We want to protect them from harm as well as our guests. No children should be allowed in the pasture without supervision. There is an inherent risk when dealing with animals. One potential risk is that the donkeys may kick you if stand beside or behind them. If you chose to enter the pasture, you do so at your own risk. We have cameras located everywhere and any abuse or mistreatment of the animals will not be tolerated.
