Welcome to the “Burgecken” vacation rental—close to nature, modern, and accessible. We look forward to welcoming you as our guests and ensuring you have a relaxing and memorable stay. Our house was completed in 2024 as part of a comprehensive renovation of a former farmhouse. Here, historic architectural elements blend with modern design features to create a high-quality, contemporary living space. The house is located on the edge of Orscholz’s historic town center, right next to the Orkelsfelsen, a protected natural monument. Numerous hiking and walking trails begin right outside the front door, including the well-known Saar-Hunsrück-Steig and other regional routes. Orscholz is known throughout the region for the Saar Loop with the Cloef viewpoint, the treetop walk, the Cloef Atrium, and the Saarschleife Health Center—all of these highlights are within a few minutes’ walk. Thanks to its central location, the property is not only ideal for nature lovers and active travelers but also serves as a perfect starting point for excursions throughout the Saar-Lor-Lux region. A parking space is located directly in front of the building entrance; bicycles can be parked in the courtyard. The entire building is a non-smoking area; pets and events are not permitted.

This comfortably furnished vacation rental is located on the spacious top floor and is accessible via an elevator. With 100 m² of living space and a loggia, it offers plenty of room for relaxation and well-being. Underfloor heating ensures a pleasant indoor climate, and a mechanical ventilation system guarantees a constant supply of fresh air. All skylights are equipped with blackout and sun-protection blinds. Wi-Fi; additional network connections in the living room, dining room, and bedroom. Large bathroom with a walk-in shower.



On-site fees: Payment by bank transfer or PayPal is accepted.Check-in from 3:00 PM, check-out by 11:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Keys are provided via a key box or in person upon request. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
