    Older building that shows it's wear, but I believe they are working on improvements. The room is large and the elevators efficient. It's very economically friendly compared to others in the area so I would not hesitate to stay here again. The onsen is incredible with indoor and outdoor options. Getting naked is weird but worth it lol I'm just not used to that..

    A nice hotel with superb clean Onsen faciliy. The room is spacious and very comfortable for 2 persons. The bus station that provide regular transport services to the various ski resorts is a few steps away. Good accomodation experience!!!

    Thanks to procrastinating on booking for a 3day weekend, I was (lucky) to book this fine hotel, which was probably really fancy during the Bubble Era. It has long been in decline like much of Japan, but they're hanging in there. Staff does their best to accommodate guests, which are mostly foreign tourists these days. The rooms were odd... to say the least. First, the room was cleaned after the previous guest. Not that big a deal. Carpet was covered in some kind of blood looking goop. Instead of cleaning/removing the carpet. They just tossed a couple IKEA rugs over it. Did we end up at the JP version of the Overlook Hotel from The Shining? Toilet seat was the most annoying, being bigger than the toilet itself. It was difficult... for men to sit and relieve themselves in it. The dinner buffet spread was semi fancy. Saturday nite they had the prime rib all cut up and being dried on the serving table... with horseradish for the condiment.... but it wasn't all bad. They also had a soft serve machine and leftover breakfast buffet items on the menu too. Can't complain too much since it was only *** yen. Half off the usual! All in all, great convenient location, being close to the station and access to all of the areas resorts.
