Vila Verde Sal Ficus

This was not my first visit to vila verde, I always like it here. The owner was really nice and extremely accommodating. Communication was good and facilities were brilliant. The apartment was clean and actually stocked with decent cooking utensils (amazing!)

Security at times were a bit annoying, this is not the hosts fault but perhaps should be communicated back to vila verde....issuing pool specific pool cards is a bit silly as we had friends staying in another block and had to plead to spend time with them at the pool, though I have to say the cards are a better idea than wrist bands which you get at other resorts!

Ficamos no edifício ficus bloque A , amámos desde todas as conversas o proprietário Alonso e a recepção que ele e a Beatriz (a pessoa encarregada de receberem) nos propocionaram, só temos de agradecer por todo o cuidado e pelo lindo e magnífico apartamento, piscina sempre cuidada todas as manhãs, seguranças sempre por perto , bus gratis para santa maria e outros destinos . Só um contra e não têm a ver com o proprietário mas sim com a administração do condomínio ( lift) quase sempre avariado 😞.... vamos de certeza voltar e tb para o T0 calestinium acho que é assim que se chama onde a minha familia tb ficou na mesma altura 👍❤️🙏 o apartamento está super bem equipado e mesmo quando eu pedia algo que me fazia falta , era de emediato atendida ...Obrigado por terem feito de tudo pra eu ter tido a melhor lua de mel e férias de sempre PS. Obrigada tb por terem lutado para a instalação do arcondionado ainda comigo là. Praia biquíni beach à 10 minutos a pé do apartamento o que se faz muito bem

Do lift avariado quase sempre

I would have loved to give the highest scores to this property because it is beautifully and tastefully designed and decorated, very spacious, clean and contains all amenities needed for a long stay.

However, I didn't have running water on 3 out of the 5 days that I stayed there. There was a cyclone on the first day that I stayed there which caused damage to the island so this might have something to do with it. I notified the manager and she replied that it is the same in her apartment too, without providing any advice or alternative. Imagine coming back from a whole day on the beach full of salt and sand, and not being able to take a shower? The toilet does not fill completely and it's impossible to flush properly which causes a foul smell. So you need to come back and flush every 5 minutes so it's not completely disgusting... On the day of the arrival, I was met at the airport by the driver that the accommodation arranged. He was waiting for me and was very nice. However, he couldn't reach the manager and we had to wait for over 30min for her to arrive and let me in. He had to keep calling her and stay with me for the whole time. After a long journey, this was not very pleasurable.
