We booked three double rooms. We got there and were directed to a different location a couple of minutes away as this location was fully booked. We ended up with two rooms with three pers in each room which was fine. Rooms were spacious and clean. Beds/sofa beds were comfortable enough. The new location had two shared bathrooms with showers. The shared kitchen has all essentials for cooking, a fridge/freezer and stove/oven. Washing machine in location but we didn’t use it. A roofed terrace was also available which was nice for morning and evening coffee/dinners. Staff was very friendly and responsive. Location is in a quiet part of town. Plenty of parking space. Walk into downtown Tiszaujvaros took about 30 min. Short drive into Tiszaujvaros which has plenty parking options. Close to a great waterpark (thermal baths). Gricery stores are abshort drive, but there is a pub, co-op and ice cream store just around the corner where we ended up staying.

Walls let through all noise which is ok if you have other people staying that are considerate and quiet which was not the case for us. The location had three other rooms rented and one was very loud. This made it difficult to sleep. Our room door had frosted glass and was across from the kitchen which has no door so noise and light traveled easily into our room when we tried to sleep. We booked with booking.com which specified Visa or cash paysment, but when we got there, the owner couldn’t accept Visa, only cash. No payment via booking.com was available even though that was used to confirm the reservation. Evenually we figured out to use paypal. The owner was very patient and agreeable to work different options, but it did make for some additional frustration/unnecessary stress (also due to language barrier). So I highly recommend messaging when booking and confirming payment methods available as we weren’t the only ones who had that issue. The listing specified wifi and the location we were supposed to be at certainly had it but this location did not - it had a router in the kitchen but when I asked for name and password, was only given the other location. Had no real effect on us as we had cell coverage, but should check prior to booking if you don’t have cell coverage.
