The house is big enough. The security of the building is good.

I have stayed in dozens of B&Bs, but I have never encountered such a poorly managed arrangement. This experience was frustrating from start to finish. ​1. Terrible Check-in Logistics The check-in process was a nightmare. You are required to pick up the keys from a kiosk located quite a distance away. This meant I had to awkwardly drag all my luggage for an 8-minute walk just to reach the building. It seems the owner is forced to use a distant kiosk because they are likely prohibited from installing a lockbox on-site. ​2. Poor Cleanliness and Maintenance The cleaning standards were extremely unprofessional. It was obvious the cleaners used a single soaking-wet towel to wipe down both the kitchen and bathroom, leaving everything feeling dirty. To make matters worse: - ​The kitchen walls are caked with grease. - The toilet seat was broken. - ​The utility and laundry rooms were cluttered with wet linens and bedding from previous guests. - ​The cleaners left every single light in the unit turned on, showing a total lack of care. ​3. Major Security and Legal Issues Most alarmingly, this property appears to be an unauthorized rental. While the building has high security (requiring a token for the building entrance and elevator), we discovered that the building's management DOES NOT ALLOW BNB business. ​After returning from dinner, we found that management had blocked our security token because we are bnb guest (we do not know how they knew it). We were locked out and unable to operate the elevator. We were lucky we were only staying for one night; otherwise, we believe we would have been forced to find a new hotel mid-trip.
