Central Stratford House With 2 Free Parking Spaces

Beautifully presented, conveniently located house, within easy walking distance of the town centre. The property is light, bright comfortable and exceptionally clean. The owner was very communicative.

Great location, ideal parking, lovely, comfortable, cosy, warm, modern accommodation & fully equipped kitchen.

Be aware, there is only 1 shared bathroom, and a separate downstairs loo. We got caught out versus the description - this needs amending to be compliant. Other gripes from the group was the lack of a stair banister & lumpiness of the pillows on both beds.

Great location. Spacious, cosy with a nice atmosphere. Clean and the hosts even set the main table for the four of us. Could not have been happier with this property.

Nothing really, although someone with disability issues could have trouble getting up and down the stairs.

This was a beautifully decorated house, in a great central location. The parking space outside was great and a major factor in deciding to stay at this house. The host, Ben, was also very helpful and communicative. Towels were provided, although the property listing didn't mention this. It's also worth knowing that tea, coffee and a pint of milk were waiting for us. We didn't realise this and packed our own!

There's nothing I didn't like, but there are a few minor things I would like to suggest which would have improved our stay. As our bedrooms were facing onto the main road with double decker busses passing by, I would have liked net curtains at the windows for privacy. It would also have been nice to have a small waste bin in each bathroom and perhaps a toilet brush. Also a caddy in the shower or somewhere to store our toiletries would have been very useful. Upon arrival, we noticed that just a small amount of toilet roll (about a third of a roll) was left in the upstairs bathroom. We managed to find a pack of toilet rolls in the cupboard in the downstairs cloak room, so in the end no problem. However, we felt the price we paid reflected a better class of accommodation, and I would have expected the cleaner to have stocked up the toilet rolls before our arrival.
