At GiGi's house

Nice place, exactly as shown in the pictures. The bed was very comfortable, and the host was really kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. The location is quite far from the city centre. In reality, I’d recommend adding around 20 minutes to whatever Google Maps estimates, as public transport in Rome isn’t always very reliable or on time. If you’re visiting Rome mainly to explore the main tourist attractions, be aware that almost everywhere takes at least an hour to reach by bus or by a combination of train, bus, and metro. There isn’t a nearby metro station; the closest option is the regional train, which runs approximately every 25 minutes and has limited late-evening services. That said, the neighbourhood itself is great, it has a real local feel, with plenty of local food, cafés, shops, and everything you need nearby, which worked really well for me. One suggestion I have would be to add a small desk and a comfortable chair to create a proper workspace. I think this would be a great addition, especially as this apartment would be ideal for someone visiting Rome for work or planning a longer stay.

One thing to keep in mind is that the apartment is on the third floor and there is no lift, so carrying heavy luggage up the stairs can be a bit of a challenge - but no issue at all if travelling light.

Host gentilissima e molto disponibile. Casa pulita, dotata di tutti i comfort e perfetta per un weekend! Posizione ottima, collegata molto bene. Ritorneremo sicuramente!

Aggiungerei un paio di utensili alla cucina che potrebbero essere utili, come pelapatate e apribottiglia. Per il resto tutto perfetto!
