Quiet location in a residential complex. Beaches a few steps away. Close to supermarket and walk into the main centre of Palau. Francesca greeted us and explained about the property. A bottle of local wine was a lovely touch.

The flat is in a wonderful location. Everything is exactly as described, and even better. The flat has everything you need for a long-term stay. We’ve been to Sardinia several times, and we can honestly say that this is one of the best places. It’s just a 2-minute walk to a lovely beach. The view from the windows is simply stunning. The hosts are lovely and very friendly. Of course, you’ll need a car – as you would anywhere in Sardinia – as there’s no other way to get to the supermarket. However, the centre of Palau is just a 15-minute walk away. We’d love to come back here!

This isn’t a downside, but it’s worth mentioning in case it matters to anyone. We hadn’t expected the flat to be on the third floor with no lift. As pensioners, we found it difficult to climb the stairs, especially with our luggage. But, on the other hand, it was a bit of daily exercise, so it didn’t dampen our spirits.
