Goede matrassen. Proper linnen en badgoed. Dicht bij autosnelweg, leuk stadje, mooie locaties te bezichtigen.

Geen stromend water op de kamer, toilet en douche is op de gang (tussenverdieping). Eerder onhandig voor een nachtelijk toiletbezoek, ook voor kinderen. Al bij al goede prijs-kwaliteit voor een tussenstop.

Very clean, spacious, well-equipped apartment in the city centre

I am very disappointed with our experience during this stay. While the apartment itself is very nice and well located, the lack of communication and assistance in an emergency situation has been extremely frustrating. We travelled from France on the day of our check in and arrived in Montabaur at around 22:00. As we do not speak German, we were unaware that there was an event taking place in the city and that the street would subsequently be closed. Before leaving the car, we checked the parking meter to see whether any parking fee was required for the weekend, but there was no information indicating that the street would be closed or that cars would need to be removed. What is particularly concerning is that the message we received from the host appeared to be a standard automated message, with no mention of the event or the temporary parking restrictions. In fact, the message specifically stated: “Öffentliche Parkmöglichkeiten befinden sich direkt entlang der Bahnhofstraße.” Based on this information, we believed that parking along Bahnhofstraße was permitted. Next morning, we opened the curtains and discovered that our car was no longer there. We immediately went outside and had to ask strangers for help in order to understand what had happened. I also tried calling the host, but I received no answer, and the phone number associated with their account appeared to be out of service. Unfortunately, I have still not received any response from the host. Two weeks later. I find it very disappointing that, in a situation where guests genuinely needed assistance, we were unable to reach the host or receive any guidance. Had we been informed about the event and the temporary street closure in advance, this situation could have been completely avoided.
