Alma botanic house

It was very modern and newly refurbished with great windows and bug screens. Lots of light and very clean and lovely nature around with beautiful donkeys

Living above the owner was a little noisy at times until the early hours with her music and friends round. It was scorching weather in June and July and although the house is quite cool inside there are no fans or aircon for when it gets really hot. It has a garden with lovely donkeys you can feed and pet, however we couldn’t really enjoy outside much as the insects give super aggressively itchy bites (we’ve lived in Asia many years so we are ok with mosquitoes) and there are no shaded areas outside at all. It would have been nice to have a terrace for all the money we paid. No washing machine so owner does laundry for you but gives it back days and days later. There’s also a lot of unneeded furniture and items in the house and no lounge which made it feel cramped for a monthly stay as a couple with our own stuff. A few adjustments like removing the unnecessary furniture and stuff, creating more space and fixing some shade outside would have made it much more pleasant and worth the money overall
