Quaint Cottage in the heart of the Cotswolds

It was beautiful inside. Had everything we needed to self cater. Location was good. Liked the riverside Black Bear pub opposite.

I banged my head on the low beams a few times.

Lovely quaint house with a secluded courtyard garden. Short walk to High Street and its MANY pubs/restaurants and takeaways. Despite this traffic noise was only noticeable when people on loud motorbikes visited the nearby pub. Pretty much all you need to get by for the week is only a short walk away. The nearby car park was £5 a day if you used RingGo to save having to walk back there, not that it's a long walk.

Due to the construction/placing of the house, the windows on one side do not open. Not the owner's fault but it got up to 37 degrees in town one day and the bedroom fan just didn't cut it! Downstairs was reasonably cool, though.

The property is very well situated in Tewkesbury and is the perfect location to venture locally or further into the Cotswolds. It is the ldeal place for a couple just looking to get away for a weekend or longer....thoroughly recommended and will definitely be going again. We had an issue with transport and Josh was able to accomodate us without issue.

Location was great, just off the main street

the stairs were very steep and uneven, not really suitable for elderly people. A hand rail would have helped. A tv would also have been an asset.
