Central Brighton 2-Bed Flat by Shops, Cafés, Beach

Very central location, right in the lanes. Great communication from owner, very helpful and v easy access instructions. Spotlessly clean.

Everything was absolutely fine, if I had to find a criticism I would say it must be the smallest bathroom in brighton.

We loved the warm welcome, The cosy atmosphere, the lovely soft comfy beds, and a fabulous view over Gardner Street. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and fresh. I absolutely loved the fact there was a dishwasher too- Brilliant! X Although it wouldn't suit everyone I loved the hustle and bustle of the busy street below, while were were cosied up, drinking tea looking out the window.

We could have done done with perhaps more cooking utensils, say a few more knives, and another saucepan or 2. A t.v would have been great, more for our children- we thought it was great not having one!😄 The entrance is a little off- putting at first, but feels very secure and has lovley pots and flowers there.

The location and space wise was very accommodating for us and gave us our own space when travelling together in a small space can get tough at times . Nonetheless super clean and easy check in and check out process

There was No television in the property , which we found rather frustrating especially a long day out and have to just stare at a fireplace wasn’t ideal to us . We found that the gate into the property at the back was extremely difficult to open and took us more than 20mins and bit of strength to open .

Central location in the Lanes with easy access to shops & restaurants. Well presented decor & modern kitchen. The property was clean. The owners were very responsive and helpful answering questions before our stay.

Access is via a back alley and up two and a half flights of stairs which means it isn’t suitable for anyone who has reduced mobility. The central Lanes location is convenient BUT the noise on a Friday night went onto 4am on Saturday! The one bathroom, which is off the kitchen, is tiny and not really adequate for four people. The twin room has no power sockets or light switches - the lights for this bedroom are controlled from the hallway! There were also a couple of maintenance issues eg sash window in kitchen is broken, so it’s permanently open, bathroom light flashes on and off … but we are letting the owners know, so hopefully they will fix these.
