Madrid Central Apartment

Great location - very central, near to lines 1 and 3 on the metro and plenty of bars, cafes and shops nearby. It felt clean, and had a good TV which connected to all the various different streaming apps. The beds were comfortable, we had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Plenty of wardrobe space and coat hangers in both bedrooms. The air conditioning worked well (the reviews were confusing and had us worried - the tiny ceiling fans don't work BUT the air con unit worked very well and kept the whole flat nice and cool, and we were there when it was 38°C). The owners replied promptly to messages, sent very clear instructions on how to get in (including a video!), and were kind enough to let us check out one hour later on the day we left. Full transparency: We were concerned in the days before we arrived when we read some of the more recent reviews (about cockroaches, A/C not working etc) but overall we enjoyed our stay and the hosts were very helpful.

The main thing - which, granted, is not within the actual flat - was that there were several cockroaches (all dead apart from 1) in the hallway that leads to the flat. We swept them away when we arrived but then more appeared after the first night. To be clear - there were none in the flat, and the flat was very clean, but it didn't feel great when we knew we had to walk along that hallway! The flat is quite small - it was fine for 3 people for 2 nights but just be aware it probably will feel smaller than it looks in the pictures. There is a slight musty smell when you come in, purely because the flat doesn't get very much ventilation but this went away quickly, especially when we turned the A/C on.

De patio was vol en rommelig en daardoor geen gelegenheid om buiten te zitten.

El piso esta muy bien ubicado, y tenía todo lo descrito, la atención para el ingreso y salida estuvo se manejaron estupendamente. Por todo lo demás la atención, seguridad del piso, calidad precio estuvieron muy bien.

Mi única critica constructiva es respecto a la limpieza, el inodoro estaba mal limpiado y al ser negro es muy visible las manchas exparcidas, y uno que otro utensilio de cocina mal lavado, que lo hemos podido limpiar por nuestra cuenta antes de usar.

Esta muy acabado huele un montón a húmeda lo cual es algo súper peligroso cuando uno está con ese olor por mucho tiempo es una locura
