The access road very steep

C'è da dire che non abbiamo prenotato l'hotel dall'Italia, in quanto avevamo prenotato su booking un altro hotel pessimo, da cui siamo letteralmente scappati e così ci siamo ritrovati qui, con una prenotazione fatta all'ultimo secondo. L'hotel era nuovo, carino e minimal. Lo staff è stato davvero gentilissimo. Al rientro dalle escursioni ci hanno fatto trovare acqua, succo, patatine, cioccolato e frutta senza che noi chiedessimo nulla. Ci hanno fatto scegliere tra le camere che avevano disponibili, quale fosse la nostra preferita. Colazione molto buona. Davvero nulla da dire, staff giovane, gentile e sempre a disposizione del cliente.

Difficult to access for large group travelling in a big vehicle. But the hotel arranged the movement of the bags from the bus to the hotel.

We stayed only one night at the 2 deluxe rooms in the first basement. Breakfast was amazing. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous

1. The access to the property was in bad shape. We had hired a big car for our entire trip to SL, it was extremely difficult for the vehicle to reach there. 2. We were charged in local currency while we booked in dollars. The rate used was higher by about 10 LKR to a dollar for that day increasing our cost. Upon complaint the same was reversed and a reasonable rate was used for charging again. 3. There was an annoying sound continuously buzzing at night whether of crickets or some machine, making our sleep uncomfortable. 4. There was some sort of smell coming from the washroom throughout our stay. 5. At around 5:30 in the morning somebody tried to open our door waking us up from deep sleep. Requested the property for CCTVs which has not been made available yet. 6. For such a rich mountainous region, the rooms had no views.
