Staff were amazing and helpful and would do anything for you. We liked the verandah. We felt comfortable like we were at home. We loved this hotel the best out of all places on our stay around Sri Lanka.

Tv didn’t work when we arrived but staff fixed when told. To let others know about the button in the bathroom to get warm water but warm water when we were informed.

Rooms were lovely, bed was really comfortable

No soundproofing so noisy neighbours disturbed sleep. Half board was really restricted & they didn’t have everything on it particularly bad if you are a vegetarian. Breakfast service was slow & all the hot food was cold & not delivered at the same time. Apparently the chef was away for the couple of days that coincided with our stay so we may have been really unlucky.The staff were very friendly but seemed to not really know what was expected of them. In fairness, the manager contacted me after I complained & negotiated a discount but overall, not good value for money in my opinion. We had just come from a fabulous hotel in Sigiriya which was slightly cheaper hence my feeling it wasn’t good value for money.
