Finca Los Llanitos Los Gigantes

The space is absolutely fantastic and the views are amazing. The pool is a really nice temperature, not cold like you often get in hotels. We stayed as a group of 10 and it didn't feel cramped at all. Air con in all bedrooms was good. Plenty of parking space for cars. Lots of fridge freezer space for everyone. Bed was comfortable. Any issues or questions we had were answered quickly on WhatsApp.

The power supply is limited which we only found out a couple of days before travelling. We expected this to have little impact once we found out but it was quite a struggle anytime we tried to use electricity at all for the oven or hairdryer. We regularly had to go down to the fusebox to reset the power, lots on the first night whilst we were sussing out what we could actually use and then still occasionally throughout the stay. I understand why this is due to the location but I think if the facilities are advertised then you naturally expect to be able to use them. Location wise you definitely need a car. We did have cars but expected that because there was a local bus stop we would be able to not drive some trips out. I wouldn't say this would be safe as there are large parts of the road without pavement and walking them could be dangerous with how quickly cars speed around the bend. This is not a fault to the accomodation at all, just something for other guests to be aware of. I would definitely take something to try and deter mosquitos as there are a lot around at night being on farmland and my fiancé has gotten lots of bites. We also saw a hornet building a nest, a couple of cockroaches, a mantis and lots of geckos (some dead in the pool that we had to fish out RIP) so probably stay clear if you are bothered by wildlife
