Really good location for visiting family in Nantwich, really pleasantly surprised at the space in the property - Perfect for our family of 4. So much better than all cramming into a hotel! Ideally located with on street parking right outside.. And a stones throw from the BEST bakery too!
Only slight niggle for us was that there weren't any big enough towels for after a shower. Just a couple of bath sheets in addition to the smaller hand towels would have been fab.

Location great, very close to all amenities in the Nantwich town centre. 2 minute walk. Keys in key safe on door so easy access to get in. Property a character listed building property. Very spacious and well equipped. Tea and coffee welcome pack. Just need to tell customers to bring washing up liquid, dish washer tablets, extra toilet rolls. Hand soap provided in toilets but not in kitchen. Great for families with children with the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Great stay overall. Would definitely stay again.
The property is full of original features and character which is great. But just remember some of the doors are small so you need to remember to lower your head to get in if you are tall, to avoid banging your head. Not a criticism but just a reminder. Plus with listed building status the windows are original and single glazed so you can hear road noise. But not very loud. No mirrors or dressing table in any of the bedrooms to get ready and plug sockets or extension cable needed. This would have been nice to have considering the bedrooms are large enough to have them in. Would be nice to have 2 bedside lamps on the tables in the bedrooms. The was one lamp in each bedroom in random spots.

Located within reach of the centre of the lovely town of Nantwich and riverside parks and walks, the property is in a good place. The Church and many shops are superb. The local pubs, restaurants and takeaways are so friendly and warm. Plus parking in the street was free, handy and available. The house itself is clearly historic and interesting. It wasn’t decorated very sympathetically - perhaps that will improve to reflect, however simply, its heritage status - although comfortable enough and we appreciated the space and amenities offered; if not exactly ‘home or cosy’. The handyman who came and tidied up outside was so helpful, polite and friendly - full marks to him! The towels, bedding etc were good quality and very clean. Thank you
I trust this is helpful. It may be that this is a recently acquired and rapidly ‘done up’ place. So, in fairness, there may be some learning about it to be done. This place needs the normal addition of a guide book. It is well equipped with fridge, washer-drier, induction hob, oven, microwave and log burner (not required but looked like it functioned) and lined kitchen bins but no written instructions on how best to operate any of them. Or what to do with rubbish and recycling The worst aspect was that two very full wheelie bins had been left in the small back yard. During a record breaking heatwave, this was not at all pleasant and definitely not ‘cosy’ in any conceivable way. The situation had been noted by neighbours who were quick not to blame us but clearly unhappy. The handyman moved the bins, however they were too full to be removed and emptied by the Council - the neighbour confirmed this. I messaged the property owners about the situation but did not have a reply. I had nowhere to put our waste so just left it in the kitchen bins. I had no option. In addition, I suggest the owners have the drains checked out. The drainage from sinks, bath etc is somewhat slow. I noted the beds had no mattress protectors. This simple addition saves on hygiene, cleaning and money. Finally, there was a bowl of mouldy rice and sauce left in the microwave. I cleaned and disinfected the microwave. I had to as it was needed after a long day trip.. No photos - the owner can redress the problems without visual evidence which could well turn away potential custom. I do not want to harm the business just that they improve it. The pictures would not have been that pretty.
