Stunning Lake Cabin Sleeps 10, Private Lake Access, Hot Tub, Free Parking!

Overall our stay was easy and pleasant. We were provided a code for the digital doorlock prior to check-in, which worked just fine. The amenities were great, the kids enjoyed the game room / pool table. There was a cupboard full of board games which we didnt have time to check out, but I appreciated that they were there nonetheless! Hot tub was nice, and clean (though the lid has some damage). Towels and linens were clean. The whole place is decorated beautifully; I love the woodsy aesthetic. Had everything we needed. Very close to the lake and dock, some of my crew did some fishing. The lake was too low to really want to swim or dock a boat there though, but the lack of rain is certainly not the host's fault!

The location is fairly remote. Its easily a 40 minute drive from Pigeon Forge, the National Park etc. Its great if you just want to have a peaceful stay near the lake, but we found ourselves driving around for hours every day to get to anything else. Also the "driveway" directly to the cabin is very steep and gravel, so can be tough for smaller vehicles. The host provided lots of information beforehand, but I found wasnt very responsive to any of my messages during the actual stay. Just as an example, we reported some issues we found when we first arrived (a wet dirty towel and broken poolstick in the game room, or a few lights that didnt work, for example) and I got no response when I emailed them. Nothing was a big enough deal to actually cause issues, but it would have been nice to get something back at least.
