The cabin was clean and beautiful. The view was stunning. We took our kayaks and also did some fishing. Only 20 minutes to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge. A great place for a family vacation. The sitting for outside was perfect. The hot tub was very clean. We had a great family of 9 vacation.

We loved this location, the parking and entrance was easy for my mom since she has some mobility issues. The cabin has plenty of room and we plan to go back with more of our family.

We loved this location and was extremely satisfied with the cabin. The parking level and easy to get in and out of our vehicle and the access into the cabin was easy for my mom who has mobility issues. We were closer to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg than we realized. The grocery stores were close enough that we could just stop when we needed to. The view was fantastic, we sat out on the back deck and drank coffee and watch the sunrise in the mornings and just enjoyed listening to the birds and watching the fish jump. It was a great week, and we are planning to come back in October.

My husband and I took our Mom's for a weekend get away for Mother's Day. The cabin and surroundings was beautiful. The view of the lake amazing. Only complaints was spider webs in corners, in closets and over cabinets. No easy access for handicapped or ederly to get to the downstairs. The pool table and hot tub with grill and large deck is on the lower level. However we had a great trip

We really enjoyed our stay. If we had a problem with anything it was taken care of timely matter. But I think for the cost of the stay and cleaning fees having to place all used towels and linen in the washer and starting it is a bit much especially having to be out of the place by 10 am.

We enjoyed having family together for the weekend at this cabin. The views and lake access were perfect! Only issues were water in the basement (which was fixed quickly, the day after we arrived) and the dishwasher not working (tough with a big family). Paper plates to the rescue! Be prepared to have to drive a distance for anything, but that’s lake life! Douglas Lake is perfect!!

Our 10 day stay was the best vacation my family have had in years. This would be the 3rd year staying in the Gatlinburg, Sevierville area. This home is a boater/jet ski/fishing paradise. Highly recommend it. Very comfortable home with great views of the lake. Swimming off the dock was great and the water temp was a warm 85 degrees.

We really enjoyed the stay, especially the private dock. The view was amazing! We loved eating dinner on the deck and watching the sun set over the lake. We had a few housekeeping issues, but the manager, Melissa, was very responsive and took care of it immediately. The cabin is well equipped. There are extra towels, life jackets, plenty of dishes, etc. The decks are amazing! The upper deck is covered for rainy days. The lower deck-our favorite-has a table, patio furniture, and a gas and charcoal grill. We grilled out for dinner and enjoyed the view!!! Highly recommend!

We rented this cabin for our family of 4 adults & 1 toddler Things we loved: -Porch & views -Safety fence wire around the porch rails -Latches on screen doors for keeping kids in and bugs out -Dock access great for an extra place to relax -Plenty of wildlife to enjoy -Quiet neighborhood w/ low traffic & safe-to-walk roads -Large parking area -Plenty of towels for 5 people -Bedrooms well outfitted -Laundry baskets & luggage racks in every bedroom -Closets in all upstairs bedrooms -TVs in every bedroom -Great HVAC Things that would have made our stay a little better: -Attention to detail in cleaning the kitchen -Directions on appliances & TV setups -Better hot tub care (too chlorinated for use IMO) -In basement bedroom, there was nowhere to hang clothing FYIs to help future renters plan: -Kitchen was adequately outfitted but was missing: large frying pan with lid, plastic containers for leftovers, multiple mixing bowls, measuring cups/spoons -Fridge is large but ice maker does not hold much ice -Areas around kitchen island are narrow & kitchen table crowds the island -All beds seemed to be memory foam mattresses -4th bedroom located in the basement is outfitted with a queen bed, a leather futon, dresser, and a large flat-screen TV. This bedroom gets cold with A/C & is not soundproof from upstairs noise -Bunk bedroom now has one bunk bed & a bed w/ a trundle -Trash has to be taken to an off-site collection by renters -Access is granted through a keybox at entryway
