El lugar es increíble, muy bonito, cuidado hasta el último detalle. Los desayunos que prepara Marla son deliciosos y las historias de Jacques son muy interesantes. La amabilidad y el trato es excelente.

Se necesita linterna para poder caminar en la noche hasta el centro, pero es parte del encanto del lugar.

Our stay at Finca La Sultana was simply brilliant. The location is beautiful and perfect for enjoying the surroundings with lots of animals around. Just 20-30 minutes from Salento, depending on your walking speed and just 15 minutes to the next convenience store. It‘s located at the treshhold of the surrounding coffee farms. We’d particularly like to mention our host, Jaque – a very friendly and pleasant person. He’s great to chat to if you fancy a bit of a natter, yet he always respects his guests’ privacy. A real highlight is Marla’s breakfast: simply fantastic! The eggs were absolutely delicious, served with homemade bread that immediately reminded me of home – pleasantly not too sweet, which is quite rare in Colombia. Jam, sweet and sour accompaniments, and second helpings were available at all times. The amenities leave nothing to be desired either: there’s hot water in the shower and clean water for tea in the kettle. Marla, the housekeeper, was always helpful, had great tips for things to do in the area and even showed us her homemade herbal extracts – always with a smile. They both are always there for you if you need a Taxi or some tipps what to do in the area. The room was large and very comfortable, with its own walk-in wardrobe. We felt completely at home and would come back any time.

Tiene una vista estupenda, un lugar muy tranquilo, natural, y de mucha naturaleza para descansar.

No tenía aire acondicionado, sería bueno una nevera pequeña, no tenía crema de manos, ni bálsamo como lo tiene cualquier hotel, el anfitrión un señor francés muy amable, pero fue un poco incómodo por qué quienes viven en la casa creo era la esposa del señor y otras personas eran como desconfiadas, nunca nos saludaron y no nos dieron bienvenida, estuve en Salento con mi hija, una tía y una amiga, en plan de descanso y sentimos como huéspedes que estábamos incomodando un poco a los dueños de esta finca, a los colombianos nos gusta la buena atención que sea cálida! El desayuno estuvo estupendo muy delicioso y saludable!
