Location was perfect. We asked for the city view and brilliant views over Casements etc. We have been to Gibraltar several times. We used to stay at the Caletta hotel until it was demolished. Two years ago we stayed at a different apartment. The view from our balcony was brilliant. The air con was very welcome as it was 35c. The TV had all the channels, including Sky movies, that you need. Kitchenette had oven, built in microwave, coffee pod machine, large fridge freezer, washer drier etc. there is a clothes frame stored in the cupboard on the balcony. As well as a hair dryer there was even straight resin the cupboard under the bathroom sink. Overall too much stuff to mention here.
Not so much ‘dislike’ more observation and suggestion. With so many gadgets it would be nice to have had a booklet with basic instructions on use. Others have mentioned there is little room between the walls and the bed. This is true and you find yourself shimmying sideways. Like others, we were taken by surprise, when checking in to be told it was an extra £15 each per stay to use the rooftop and pools. Where advertised on the site, the extra fees should also be mentioned. There’s lots of light switches and it was ‘fun’ trying to work out what controlled what. The best one was by the door as it turned every light off. Great when leaving / entering. The balcony is fabulous and the view wonderful being 14 floors up. You can see the Moroccan coast, the Straights of Gibraltar and the Spanish peninsular. We even got to see some of the Spanish land on fire! Advice: the air con pumps out hot air on the balcony. We turned the air con off when we sat out in the evening as it was still near 28c. We closed the patio doors to keep the room cool and switched the air con back on when we went in. There are five down lights in the bed area and, if you use the switches either side of the bed, they all come on and floodlight the bed. Not good in the middle of the night when you want to nip to the bathroom and your partner is asleep. There is a switch outside the apartment but we couldn’t get it to do anything. When leaving at night, walk a few feet from the door and the sensors turn on the corridor lights. The main door is quite heavy and it sticks a bit near the bottom. We had to use a shoulder to open it. Advice: When finding the apartment, we arrived at the building with the name on the side however, above the door it says City Suites. We were confused as we thought we were at an office. This is the door however, you need a card to get in which is why you need to meet with the owner. My only gripe is that the owner communicates via text and in Italian.

Rebooked to stay a second time in a week, that’s how clean, modern, secure and well situated this apartment is. Within walking distance of the airport, market place, ocean village and casemates. Also have a rooftop spa, with steam room, sauna, and hot tubs and warm water pools. Unless you want the full hotel experience, then this has to be one the best places to stay in Gibraltar for a short visit.
There isn’t anything I can find to say genuinely negative about this apartment.

Great views perfect apt
This annoyed me in the Booking.com receipt I received there are two pools with hot tub. I was told by Host u had to pay extra 15 pounds each person. In my reservation I had these services free of charge. Also parking for 15 pounds daily was ok but I could not reserve this online due to error. When I arrived the Host said I was to late to book. Poor management

The apartment studio had a nice balcony and view. It had a washer and dryer.
Accessing the unit was difficult. The security guard seemed irritated I was there asking questions. There was no bag concierge or anything in the way of storage of my belongings while I went on tour so I had to cancel my tour. I would prefer a hotel for the price.
