Spacious Beachfront Condo with Stunning Gulf Views

The location was fabulous here! Literally, steps from the beach. You didn't have to bring much stuff to the beach as you could easily walk back to the condo to get whatever you needed. This area is a relatively private beach, so it was not packed. IRB tends to be quieter than some of the other beach areas. The owners provided extra amenities for the renters, which was awesome (and not every rental owner provides this). This includes extra paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash/handsoap/lotion, and detergents. There were even some extra boogie boards, beach umbrellas, and beach toys (could have been donations from previous renters).

Besides some dated features (like popcorn ceiling, linoleum floor in laundry room) and cleanliness issues (like tub stains, dirty grout lines), it was a really good condo. However, there was a big problem of an unknown humming noise occurring most hours of the day and night. If it was a consistent hum, then I may have been able to phase it out. However, it would shut off and then kick back on every few minutes. So, it made it difficult to sleep at night and woke us up early each morning (about 6 AM). We spoke with the owner about it, but nothing was done to address it. So, warning to future renters, please be aware that this humming noise may bother you if you're a light sleeper or don't like odd humming noises throughout the day.
